The 2019 Pinot Blanc is unoaked, very dry and comes in at 12.5% alcohol. This will be released in August. That might be because it is steely and intense just now. Personally, I like it this way and see no real reason it shouldn't be out. It is still well balanced as it airs out and warms. It's perfect for warm weather now—refreshing and lively. It's relatively solid in the mid-palate too. The acidity lifts the fruit beautifully and lets it linger on the juicy finish. There is still plenty of expressive fruit to soak up the acidity—this is not at all shrill. The fruit profile is classic. This is very nice this year. Under screwcap, it may hold surprisingly well, but let's take that in stages. Mark Squires, The Wine Advocate
