Description
Harvestedfromouroldest vineyard, the crushed fruit was macerated and fermented in a combination of oak and traditional fermenting bins, using our 260-gallon Garbellato Experience oak cask. Following pressing, the wine was aged in a combination of new and older French oak barrels for 16 months. Our 2020 Cabernet Franc represents cool climate viticulture at its best! Bright, fresh cherry aromas are complemented by the slightest hints of vanilla and spice. Well- defined tannins provide structure without being overpowering and lead to a characteristic black pepper finish.
